The CWIL Executive Residency · Mauritius 2026

Reset & Realign — leading with clarity, influence and capacity.

An invitation-only leadership residency for ten senior women leaders — six days of executive development, peer advisory and structured reflection, followed by six months of sustained support through the CWIL Executive Continuum.

Why a residency

Deliberately small. Deliberately deep.

The 2026 Residency is built around a curated cohort of ten. At this scale, every delegate presents her own 90-day leadership plan to the full cohort, sits in every peer advisory circle, and works directly with the programme's facilitators, psychologists and coaches. Nothing is delivered from a stage to the back of a room.

Ten leaders. Six days. One question: what kind of leader do you intend to be — and what will you do about it in the next ninety days?

The programme is convened by Corporate Women in Leadership (CWIL) — a network that has reached over 25,000 women leaders across 38 countries, through 9 summits, 60+ mentors and more than eight years of programming. The Residency is CWIL's most senior offering: designed for board members, C-suite executives, directors, entrepreneurs and high-potential women leaders, and structured to return them to their organisations with sharper judgement, renewed capacity and a plan their sponsors can hold them to.

Deliverables, not souvenirs

What every delegate leaves with

The Residency is measured by what happens after it. Every delegate departs Mauritius with a concrete set of artefacts and commitments — visible to her sponsoring organisation.

A presented 90-Day Leadership Action Plan

Developed across the week and presented to the full cohort in the closing Executive Boardroom — a specific, dated plan her organisation can track.

A named accountability partner

Paired at the Leadership Intentions dinner, with structured check-ins continuing through the six-month Continuum.

A leadership intention, in writing

Set on day two, exchanged with her accountability partner, and revisited in the Legacy Letter delivered six months after the Residency.

Professional media assets

A recorded storytelling studio session capturing her leadership story — produced assets she and her organisation can use.

Research participation

A contribution to an ongoing academic study on women in corporate leadership, in collaboration with research faculty at Sheffield Hallam University.

A global executive network

Membership of a cross-industry, cross-continental cohort — and of CWIL's alumni network spanning 38 countries.

After Mauritius

The CWIL Executive Continuum

Six days on the island is the beginning, not the product. Every delegate continues her leadership journey through six months of structured support — which is where sponsored places return their value.

Monthly Executive Peer Advisory Circles

The Residency's peer advisory format continues online — real challenges, worked through with the same cohort.

Accountability Partner Check-ins

Structured follow-through on each delegate's 90-day plan and leadership intention.

Quarterly Executive Masterclasses

Facilitated sessions extending the Residency curriculum into the working year.

Digital Leadership Resource Library

Session materials, frameworks and recordings, available to delegates throughout.

Global Alumni Network

Ongoing connection to CWIL's community of 25,000+ women leaders across 38 countries.

The Leadership Legacy Letter

Written at the Legacy Dinner, delivered six months after the Residency — a personal audit of intention against action.

The Continuum runs from August 2026 to January 2027 for the Mauritius cohort.

Academic partnership

Grounded in research, not rhetoric

The Residency contributes to an ongoing study on women in corporate leadership, in collaboration with research faculty at Sheffield Hallam University. Delegate storytelling sessions and structured reflections are captured — with consent — as data for published academic work.

Why it matters

Delegates don't simply attend a programme informed by evidence — they help build the evidence base itself. Their experiences shape published findings on leadership, resilience and the realities facing senior women executives, and connect their organisations to a growing academic conversation.

The setting

Crystals Beach Resort, Belle Mare

A Radisson Individuals resort on the white-sand east coast of Mauritius — chosen for the scale of this cohort. Ten delegates, one resort, and a programme that moves easily between boardroom, beach, bonfire and the lagoon at Île aux Cerfs.

Beyond 2026

The 2026 cohort is complete.
The 2027 conversation is open.

The Residency returns annually with a new curated cohort of ten. If your organisation would like to sponsor a woman leader for 2027 — or you would like to be considered for a future cohort — we would be glad to talk.
